We’re looking for 2 or more Helpers to support Kate and Becky at the library open sessions by

* setting up and putting away the library at the start and end of each session
* welcoming people to the library session and finding out what they’re looking for
* filling in and filing hire forms and taking hire payments and deposits
* checking over slings on return and returning deposits

Full training will be given, and perks of the role include being able to borrow unhired slings between sessions, tea/coffee and biscuits, and the general happy glow that comes with helping to provide an important service to local parents 

We need 1 person to help at Arnos Grove on Friday mornings, 9:15-11:30am, from September, and 1 person to help at Somers Town on Wednesdays, 11am-1pm from 31st July. Job shares also possible if you couldn’t manage to come once a week. The Somers Town location would be better suited to a Helper whose child is happy to be in a sling, play quietly or who is in childcare during the session.

This role is currently unpaid but we are looking at ways to make it a paid role in the future and to support Helpers to access formal babywearing safety / peer support training.
