Due to the holiday play schemes and other events at Coram’s Fields, the Bloomsbury branch of the sling library will be closed on the following dates:

On the following dates, the library session will be running from The Calthorpe Project, 258-274 Gray’s Inn Road, WC1X 8LH:

Wednesday 3rd August
Wednesday 17th August
Wednesday 31st August

 

 

There is another activity running straight after the sling library sessions on the weeks that we’re at The Calthorpe Project, so we will have to start packing up at 12:30 on the dot. To achieve this, the last bookable appointment slot will be at 11:45 and unfortunately we will have to turn away anyone dropping in after 11:30am.

 

All hire periods will be adjusted accordingly and, of course, free hire extensions will be given where the return date falls on a week when we’re closed.

 

We’re pleased to be able to offer 4 sessions over the summer break, without which the library would be closed for a total of 9 weeks. However, this will incur extra costs for the library, so if you’d like to throw a few £ into our tip jar, either at a session or via PayPal, to help us reach our summer fundraising target of £120 we would really appreciate it! As a reminder, we are a not-for-profit Community Interest Company and run entirely by volunteers – all of our profits go back into buying new slings for the library and replacing old ones, so a few £ here and there really does help.
